Sandblasted
SANDBLASTING
- Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine
bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface. Wood and glass are
the most common materials to blast, to create a textured effect. Our process is
done by blasting compressed air and sand mixture. A hand or computer cut resist
(adhesive rubber mask) is applied to this surface as the "art" - differintiating
positive and negative images. After removing the mask, the sign can either be
hand painted or stained to retain wood color.
